Overview
Muchenje Safari Lodge's position means that it is far away from the bustle in Kasane, and guests enjoy extensive game drives in a rarely visited section of the Chobe National Park.
In addition, as the Lodge is located in the Chobe Forest Reserve, game walks and night drives are also available, which add immeasurably to the wildlife experience.
The lodge is easily accessed from Kasane, Victoria Falls and Livingstone, where a selection of direct flights from Johannesburg, Windhoek, Gaborone or Lusaka.
A charter flight from Kasane means the Okavango Delta is a short flight away, thus making Muchenje an easy addition to your Botswana Safari.
Chobe National Park and its surrounds, is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. The sheer quantity of game often surprises the most discerning Safari Clientele.
Home to four of the Big Five; Chobe is understandably famous for its elephant herds – and it is not uncommon to see hundreds of these magnificent animals on the flood plains at any one time.
