Privacy Policy

Visual Itineraries is committed to respecting the privacy and security of your personal information. The following online privacy policy describes the information we collect and how we use it.

Information Collected

Like many websites, we collect information about visitors to the website. You can visit the vast majority of pages on our website without telling us who you are. If you are not logged in to our site, we track the pages you visit for our internal statistics and page popularity analysis.

When you register or log in to Visual Itineraries, we track additional information such as your email address, your password, and the sites you've put in your Favorites list.

If you request assistance from our travel experts, we also collect your name, phone number, and other information relevant to the trip you're planning.

Sharing Information

In general, Visual Itineraries does not share information collected from you with any other company or individual.

There is one exception to this rule: if you give us your contact information as part of a request for travel planning assistance from an expert, we will share that information with that travel expert (but no one else). Some of our travel experts are our employees, and others are employees of companies we partner with because of their expertise in a particular destination.

Protecting Your Information

We use a variety of security measures to ensure the safety of your personal information. Your information is contained within our secure systems and is only accessible to a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep this information confidential.

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website can send to your browser and may then be stored on your computer's hard drive. It acts as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer, but not you personally. We use cookies to keep track of things such as your last selections on the main Explore panel, where you filter the resorts we show by country, region, and by attributes of the resort. We also use cookies to track what destinations you've looked at on our site, and use remarketing to show you ads for travel specials for those destinations on other websites in Google's AdWords network. Third-party vendors, like Google Adwords, use these cookies to serve ads based on the destinations you looked at on our site. You can opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
