Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach

Video #1 of 1

Bora Bora, the Pearl of the Pacific is often called the most beautiful island in the world. Jagged green peaks cascade down to white sand beaches and shimmering blue lagoons. In the unparalleled Matira Bay nestles Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach Resort.

A quintessential Bora Bora beach resort, the luxury hotel sits on a sparkling beach with lush grounds dotted by hibiscus flowers and tropical blossoms. Meander the tropical landscape and explore the riches of the island.

For the most indulgent villa experience, Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach Resorts, over water bungalows, suspend guests over the lagoon. Gaze at the watery world below through glass in-floor viewing platforms or step directly into the sea from your terrace.

A highlight of the resort, Polynesian style bungalows showcase natural materials and forms inspired by the tropical setting. Over water bungalows perch just atop the lagoon and feature in-floor viewing platforms to watch the aquatic wonders below.

Meanwhile beach bungalows place guests directly on the white sands while other bungalows tuck guests away within the lush gardens. All bungalows offer guests luxurious indulgences from Sofitel MyBeds to deluxe French bath elixirs.

Discover one of the world's most desired destinations in exclusive Sofitel style.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This was the most AWSOME experience our accommodation was out over the sea. There is just nothing negative to say only positive. We even had rain like we have never seen before. Wouldn't change a thing. If you ever get the chance to go you would only have the most amazing memories to keep close for ever.

Review:   Pass if you can. The concierge/front desk staff are unhelpful at best, if not rude, and the manager is nowhere to be seen. Food menus are limited, the food is not particularly good (overly greasy) and it is overpriced. This place is long in the tooth, with many visible problems with the rooms (more or less annoying) such as sewage smell coming from the shower... While it is due for a refresh soon, it may not change the value much, unless there are more profond changes. The only redeeming factor is the wait staff that is exceptionally nice.
