About Azura Benguerra Island

Azura is the area's first luxury eco-boutique retreat. Built entirely by hand in partnership with the local community, it has just 17 villas, each with their own private pool stretching out to the Indian Ocean beyond, and designed for the ultimate undiscovered getaway. It was the first of several luxury hotels owned and managed by Christopher and Stella Bettany.

Overview
Azura is a brand new luxury eco-boutique lodge situated on Benguerra Island within the beautiful Bazaruto Archipelago in Southern Mozambique. There are 14 exquisitely designed villas and 1 Presidential villa each with private plunge or infinity pool. The design of the villas blend modern chic with all that is traditional in Mozambique. The villas are a very welcoming place to stay and you may not want to leave them at all.
