Private Charter: Full Day Lagoon TourExplore > French Polynesia > Bora Bora > Private Charter: Full Day Lagoon TourOverviewA full day of exploration, fun, and beauty (and lunch) awaits on this private charter. Book this private charter for just you and your sweetie or bring the whole gang along. Either way, this divine day experiencing Bora Bora's protected reefs, small islands, sea-dwelling creatures, local hospitality, and freshly-prepared food will surpass your wildest expectations. Board your locally-made 28' boat for a small, intimate experience in Bora Bora's pristine waters. As you glide along the lagoon, marvel at the subtle hues of azure, teal, and aquamarine just beneath your boat. The nearby reefs of the lagoon are teeming with life and you will stop to observe small reef sharks who call this area their home. They are harmless and fascinating to watch as we swim above them. If you're ready for a bit more interaction with sea life, an up-close encounter with the local stingrays in waist-deep water will fit the bill. They are quite familiar with people and will offer a friendly greeting by brushing you with their velvety skin as they "fly" by. With their mouths on the bottom of their body (but no teeth), they are happy to gently take a fish from your outstretched fingers as they swim over your hands. Moving on to the Coral Garden, you'll don mask and snorkel for a spectacle of movement and color provided by angelfish and white and black convict tangs. They, too, are used to visitors and are looking forward to eating a bit of bread right out of your hand. To add to the excitement of this day, you'll head to a private motu (island). Bora Bora has many, many motu dotting the lagoon but this one has the added advantage of a hill, perfect for a climb with fantastic views. While you've been frolicking in the water, your captain's family has been at the motu, preparing a fresh, delicious lunch and waiting to share their South Seas hospitality. You will relish every bite of BBQ chicken and locally caught fish, a salad bar and an assortment of prepared veggies. If you're fortunate enough to be visiting on a Monday or Friday, you'll experience an authentic Polynesian Feast prepared in an earth oven known as an "Ahi ma'a". In addition to the regular BBQ menu, you'll be treated to spinach chicken, pork cabbage, poisson crue (Tahitian ceviche) Taro Uru (breadfruit), plantains and Po'e (Tahitian pudding) for dessert. As if all of the above weren't enough, you will enjoy lunch with your picnic table resting in the shallows of the lagoon, your feet in the water. If that's not paradise, I don't know what is! After lunch, take some time to snorkel the crystal clear waters of the lagoon surrounding the motu. As you make our way back to shore, your talented boat captain will serenade you with some musical entertainment. - Bring/wear swimsuit, reef-safe sunblock, sunglasses and insect repellent. - Don't forget your camera. - Bottled water is provided on the tour. - This private charter can accommodate up to 12 passengers.
