Coral reefs or reefs are structures made up of the remains of small marine organisms, mainly a group of colonial natives called limestone corals or hard corals.

The Baglioni Resort Maldives, in addition to being a real oasis of peace and luxury with an Italian touch, also enjoys a very privileged location, being on one of the most beautiful atolls of the entire archipelago.

Coral reefs occupy about 300,000 sq km in shallow seas around the world, having grown gradually as the organisms that form its living surface multiply, spread and die, adding their skeleton to those already accumulated.
