Once your tour guide picks you up, you'll enjoy a relaxing drive through the countryside in private, air-conditioned transportation. Your guide will point out an array of sites including coffee plantations, sugar cane and citrus plantations, and local farming communities with tropical fruit stands offering rich commentary on the local history and biodiversity. The drive will lead you to La Fortuna - a small town known as the gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park. Here your guide will lead you on a sightseeing tour of this charming Costa Rican town where traditional culture and customs will come alive around you! Near La Fortuna sits Mistico Park. Your first step into the park's lush landscape will have you itching to explore. But before you head into the rainforest, you'll have time to use the restroom and prepare for your nature walk. During the walk, you'll encounter a natural wildlife preserve where native species roam freely. Once inside the forest, you'll be enveloped by the calls of tropical birds and the fluttering of butterflies above. Tucked under the towering Arenal Volcano are ten regular bridges and six hanging bridges that will escort you to enchanting views of the forest. As you continue through the rich green canopy, you'll come to a glorious waterfall over 60 feet tall. The lookout to the waterfall is non-slippery, so you can admire this natural wonder without worry. As if your day of adventuring couldn't get any better, you'll be transported to Baldi Hot Springs after your walk to enjoy a buffet lunch before you sink into the natural thermal waters that dot the foot of the volcano. The multitude of therapeutic waters range from warm to cool temperatures to ensure a state of pure comfort. In addition to the hot springs, you'll have access to a large steam room, luxurious pool bars and giant water slides.
