Private: Niagara Falls From Toronto With Airport Pickup Or Drop OffExplore > Canada > Toronto > Private: Niagara Falls From Toronto With Airport Pickup Or Drop Off
OverviewThere is nothing better than a full day experience shared only with the people you enjoy! Niagara Falls was the honeymoon spot from the 30s to the 60s but once you see them, you will see that romance still exists! Niagara Falls is a misnomer as it is a group name for 3 waterfalls that overlap the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the American state of New York. The three falls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The combined flow from these falls is the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North American that has a vertical drop of more than 165 feet and they are spectacular to witness. The location of the city of Toronto offers an easy way to enjoy this sight as a day trip and the 2-hour drive is beautiful as it follows the curve of Lake Ontario. This truly luxury trip to the falls begins with door-to-door service with pickup in a luxury vehicle. Your drive is comfortable and the guide will share some of the sights you pass on the way. Once you arrive you will be stunned by the scene and the sound of the falls. You will be able to decide whether or not to participate in two popular activities. You may be able to do both depending on the crowds; in each case you will receive priority access to Skip-The-Line. The first is the famous Hornblower Cruise, which provides a thrilling boat ride to the base of the falls. From the bow of the boat, you can feel the power of the water. Mist overtakes you but you are dressed in colorful rain gear, protected from the water that might splash as you pass the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls, moving into the midst of the Horseshoe Falls. The second adventure is the Journey Behind the Falls. Though it sounds like thunder, the water never stops and the feeling is unbelievable. You will be standing behind the falls where one-fifth of the world's fresh water will crash in front of you to the basin below. Again you can decide there and in both cases you will pay for your tickets on-site. That allows you to not be obligated if you decide against these experiences. At some point, you will see the Floral Clock, which is maintained by the Niagara Parks horticulture staff. The mechanism itself is run by Ontario Hydro and you will hear the chimes every quarter of an hour. It's time to get moving and you will head from the Falls to Niagara-On-The-Lake. The view of the falls and the rapids particularly are mesmerizing. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a lovely sight and entertaining as well. Loaded with quality boutiques, cafes, and shops, you can meander for awhile. You might even try some Ice Wine, a favorite here. There are several options for lunch and your guide will help you determine the best for you. There is a buffet with a window seat overlooking the falls in Niagara but many decide to take the short ride to Niagara-On-The-Lake and enjoy dining there, where there are more choices. Your guide will be happy to help you with some suggestions. No doubt your drive back will initiate some conversation and then likely end with a nap. - Tickets for the Hornblower Cruise (about $30.00 per person) and/or the Journey Behind the Falls ($20.00 per person) will be purchased at the time of your tour. Both will have Skip-The-Line option. - This tour stays on the Canadian side so you will not need international passport. - Dress comfortably.
