Overview

The Intercontinental Resort basks in the heart of a magnificent 30 acre park on the edge of a stunning lagoon. Local architecture is harmoniously integrated among the gardens and coconut groves. Two infinity swimming pools, one of which is sand bottomed, face the lagoon and blue ocean which is marked on the horizon by the silhouette of Moorea.

Two restaurants cater to your dining pleasure – the overwater 'Lotus' for a light lunch or gourmet dinner and the 'Tiare', in a tropical setting by the garden, where a spectacular Polynesian show is held several times a week.

A wide range of activities is available, such as water-skiing, sailing, tennis, volleyball and of course swimming in the crystal clear water of the lagoon.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   I spent a couple of nights here with my wife due to a stop over. Hotel is gorgeous and room are really luxury and full of equipment and with a nice view on the bay. The hotel has a fantastic swimming pool and it is on the beach which however is black color so not to much inviting to stay there. Staff is friendly and food is fair. Price are of course high.

Review:   Absolutely stunning. Contemporary accommodations, but with a respectful nod to the culture and its breathtaking backdrop of natural beauty. Truly a slice of ethereal paradise; a savoring taste heaven on Earth. The incredible members of staff in each and every area of hotel and dining operations are sure to be as impressive as the Ocean View that greets you in the lobby. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests from the second they step of their cab. We were struck by the utterly heartwarming hospitality and thoughtfulness with which we were received and greeted for the duration of our stay. A 5-minute drive from the airport and a 15-minute shuttle into town, it's surely a great way to experience the gorgeous island of Tahiti and its charming, beautiful people! We will continue to use the amazing InterContinental brand!

Review:   I was so excited to find out I was able to get a make a wish trip to Tahiti. I have a muscle disorder called muscular dystrophy and make a wish gave me the honor of a wish. I chose Tahiti and they had us stay at this resort. It has great food, fun night shows, bungaloos over the water, and an overall great experience.

Review:   Beautiful resort, incredible service, and the nicest people serving you. You are greeted wherever you go with the traditional Tahitian word for hello. The resort is an easy distance from many great shopping centers and is only about 10-25 minutes away from the LDS temple.
