Overview
Satisfy your mind and stomach!
Your first stop at The National Art Gallery covers everything from timeless Bahamian art to contemporary works made by local up and comers.
With Bahamian flare in mind, it isn't a coincidence that Nassau is home to some of the most alluring galleries throughout the Caribbean islands. This interesting venture through some of its best galleries provides a unique vantage point of the island that develops culture running much deeper than its beautiful beaches referenced in surf rock music from the late 80s.
After meeting your guide a short walk from the pier you will explore The National Art Gallery, D'Agular Art Foundation, Central Bank Art Gallery and the Hillside House Art Gallery. Insight on both permanent and local exhibits will be provided by your guide who knows about both the pieces themselves and why they are relevant to the area. At the last stop you will be served a savory lunch and have the opportunity to reflect on some of your favorite pieces from along the way. Satisfy your mind and stomach at the same time!
