The plane that takes you to Rarotonga, Cook Islands is the Air New Zealand, 767 - 300 series which is a wide body plane, meaning it has two isles and there is plenty of room for you to get comfortable.

There is 210 Economy Class seats and there is 24 Business Class seats available on this aircraft. Each of the seats has about a 22' pitch reclining space for every passenger.

While you are on board the aircraft you will receive a complimentary blanket, pillow, head-set, two hot plate meals, and alcohol and spirits.

Since traveling at night in both directions you arrive to your destinations well rested to make the most of each day. Since the Cook Islands are in the same time zone as Hawaii your jetlag is minimal.

While you are waiting to depart for your flight at Los Angeles' airport you are going to be in Terminal 2 and while you are in the terminal, you are able to do some shopping and eating as well. There is a Burger King, Starbucks, La Brea Bakery, Wolfgang Puck Express Pizza and L.A. Roadhouse-Route 66.
