Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   It was noisy, the rooms didn't muffle out the noise very well, I kept hearing people talking in the next room and in the hallway, the bed was uncomfortable, every time i moved in the bed or got up the bed moved away from the headboard, and then the pillows slipped down and all the pillows were uncomfortable. The fridge made noises all night and kept waking me up. They provided team & coffee and no tea spoons to stir the tea or remove the tea bag. The breakfast the next day was TERRIBLE!! for $25 I didn't like any of it. The bread was stale and already felt like it had been toasted, bacon and eggs over cooked and I couldn't even eat the sausages they were so bad. Also curtain broken in my room and car parking was full when we got there, but weren't told we needed to book a car park so we ended up parking down the road and having to walk down with our bags. The staff were really nice and the location was amazing, walking distance to all the new bars and restaurants

Review:   Very happy with the room. Being an Ibis it is cheaper accommodation and for the money I think you actually get more than you pay for. My 1:00am check-in went like clockwork. Staff were expecting me and I was greeted by name. He was super friendly and efficient as well. The room is small but very clean and well maintained. Bed is a king and very comfortable. I’d definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Review:   Great location, facilities are not trendy but well maintained. Heat pump/air condition has individual control system and operates quiet. Hotel offers shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast buffet is Mercure/Grand Mercure quality I would say. Breakfast buffet service team provides warm welcoming service. All services were worth for the money I paid. Tip. Take your own slippers (Most of NZ 3~4★ hotels do not provide slippers).
