Hawks Cay Resort is located midway down the Florida Keys on the secluded island of Duck Key. The 60-acre Resort destination is owned and operated by Northview Hotel Group, which completed a $35 million renovation in 2008. A member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts,
Preferred Family Certified and an AAA Four-Diamond Award-winner,
the Resort boasts a total of 402 villas and hotel rooms, five
restaurants, each unique in their culinary style; a beautiful saltwater lagoon, five lavish swimming pools and the award-winning Calm Waters Spa.

From the full-service marina, Hawks Cay Resort offers guests access to some of the world's finest diving, snorkeling and fishing sites. A highlight and favorite of all is the on-site Dolphin Connection program, which is home to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins ready to interact with guests. Popular water sports include kiteboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, guided jet ski tours and SNUBA®. The latest addition to the Resort is the one-of-a-kind JetLev flying experience. Back on land, Segway tours provide a fun way to discover the island.

The main hotel has 177 guestrooms featuring classic West Indies
island décor. Each room is equipped with wireless or wired Internet access, large flat-panel LCD televisions and oversized tumbled marble showers and baths. Select rooms have Bose Wave radios with iPod docking stations. Most accommodations have balconies with ocean views or direct access to the adults-only Tranquility Pool or the main Resort Pool. There are six room categories: Standard, Island View, Water View, Premium Lanai, Premium King or the Presidential Suite.

A collection of 225 two- and three-bedroom villas are perfect for groups and families. There are 160 Hawks Cay Villas, which feature upgraded décor, complete kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and oversize decks – most with water views. For value-conscious travelers, the 65 Duck Key Vacation Rentals available on the resort grounds, each with unique Keys décor, offer the comforts of home and access to Hawks Cay amenities.

Activities include basketball, a Cliff Drysdale Tennis program featuring eight lighted courts, world-class offshore and backcountry fishing, Segway tours, parasailing, jet ski rentals, sunset cruises, diving, SNUBA®, snorkeling, the JetLev flying experience, kiteboarding and standup paddleboarding. The Dolphin Connection at Hawks Cay Resort is the only resort-based program of its kind in the continental U.S. Four Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins call Hawks Cay home: Lucky, Balla, Nemo and Hastings. Guests can enter the water, interact from the dock or spend the entire day getting an up-close perspective and understanding of the dolphin and trainer relationship.

Hawks Cay Resort is an ideal destination for anglers of any skill level and home to NBC Sports' "The Saltwater Experience," one of the highest-rated television shows for outdoor and fishing enthusiasts. The Resort offersseven offshore or four shallow drafter charter boats or guests can bring their own boat and dock at one of 85 full-service slips. The marina can accommodate boats up to 110 feet with drafts up to five feet and beams up to 20 feet.

The award-winning Calm Waters Spa at Hawks Cay Resort enhances guests' level of relaxation with head-to-toe rejuvenation in a gracious, unpretentious atmosphere. The 7,000 square foot spa features a Signature Key Lime product line and has eight treatment rooms including two couple's suites, three facial rooms and a tropical rain room with Vichy shower for body treatments. The spa menu is highlighted by five signature treatments that feature local ingredients including the signature Key Lime Mojito body treatment. Additionally, the spa has a state-of-the-art fitness room with a complete schedule of group exercise classes, relaxation room, candlelit whirlpool, eucalyptus steam room and dry sauna.

The centerpiece of the Indies Club is the Pirate Ship Pool complete with slides, tunnels and water shooting canons. Camp Hawk (ages 5 – 12), The Cove for teens (ages 13-17) and babysitting for infants, ensures a fun time for the entire family. The Cove features Wii, Guitar Hero, Baja Speedway and more with camp activities such as nature trail hikes, swimming, snorkeling, scavenger hunts and a dockside fish feeding frenzy scheduled daily.
