The theme of this special full-day tour is nature and the ocean, featuring the top beauty spots of Dalian.
After being met by your guide at the cruise ship pier, you will be driven to the famous Binhai Road, which runs along Dalian's rugged coastline. You'll start your day with a relaxing walk between dramatic mountains and deep blue sea, drinking in the tranquility and purity of this stunning natural setting. Continuing on, you will visit Ocean Melody Park, a square surrounded by the ocean on three sides and mountains on the fourth side, featuring 27 sculptures.
Then for an adrenaline rush you’ll take a battery-operated vehicle ride on the “Strange Slope,” a mysterious stretch of road where gravity seems to operate in an opposite way to what is expected -- where uphill and downhill require opposite kinds of power! Then, still in the vehicle, you'll follow a scenic S-road coastal drive.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll spend the afternoon at the fascinating Pole Aquarium of LHT Ocean Park, exploring the incredible world of polar animals. In 2002, it was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest polar aquarium in the world. It is also the only National AAAAA Tourist Attraction in Dalian. Here the attractions include an unforgettable 20-minute show starring marine animals, the Coral Aquarium, the Marine Mammal World, and the famous Fun & Game Show, where the classic play “Clowns’ Age” includes animal stars such as the sea elephant Robert, the sea lion Jordan, and the sea otter Raul!
