Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Beautiful location, very friendly staff. Newly renovated cabins. Watch fish from the dock. Great food (typically expensive French Polynesia). Water in room is not potable and you have to buy your own bottled water.

Review:   Not pleasant service at all. Staff loses every opportunity to be gentle. To give an idea, we were robbed on a TEMAE public beach (be extra careful there!) by two young guys on a scooter. They took our two purses with ALL our belongings (2 iphones, credit cards, clothes, driving license, key of the car, many valuable personal things) and when we finally made our way back to Kaveka their only question was “and how are you going to pay us?”. None of the staff members showed a minimum concern or solidarity with our miserable situation. None. The Hotel has a good location and the bangalows are okay but the detailing is unexistent. Breakfast is very poor in quality and very expensive. Absolutely not recommended.

Review:   Great hotel with a good service and a genuine atmosphere. To my mind, better option than the soulless luxury hotels and definately the best price/service. Beautiful place to dive too
