Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Beautiful location, very friendly staff. Newly renovated cabins. Watch fish from the dock. Great food (typically expensive French Polynesia). Water in room is not potable and you have to buy your own bottled water.

Review:   Great hotel with a good service and a genuine atmosphere. To my mind, better option than the soulless luxury hotels and definately the best price/service. Beautiful place to dive too

Review:   This property is on the island of Moorea, which is much more in line of what you believe is paradise, than the island of Tahiti itself, which was a congested, graffiti laden city, similar to what you'd find in the U.S. We made a reservation to this hotel for two nights. Once you take the ferry to the island from Tahiti, in a rental car it is about 15 minutes on the road that loops around the island. When we go there we found out that the room we had, did not include air conditioning. We thought tropical island breeze, 'yeah'. WRONG! It was like a very poorly maintained hut, there was no breeze and we started to melt once we got into it. Went back to the desk and they 'upcharged' us big time for a decent hut, with better furnishings, better bad and air conditioning. It was like bait and switch. For that reason I can't recommend this place. But I must admit its location was perfect. It was on a rocky beach, where you wouldn't just walk into the water without bruising your feet. But it was less than 10 minutes from a gorgeous beach that I'll show you in the attached photos.
