Overview

Cruise Seattle's famous lake union compelte with spectacular views!

It would be very tempting to be in the boat building business in Seattle. Boats of all shapes and sizes are everywhere. We searched for the friendliest, most professional company to ensure that the true flavor of Seattle shines through.

This lively narrated cruise was developed to introduce you to some of Seattle's features not so easily seen from the popular downtown area. As a matter of fact, Seattle is much bigger and more colorful than it seems upon first impression. We know because we were delighted to enjoy the sights you'll see on this cruise featuring Lake Union, the Montlake Cut and Portage Bay.

Lake Union is an urban lake gouged by a glacier over 12,000 years ago. It is actually one of the world's most urban, as it serves so many different functions. Industry, residential areas, a fish run, boating, aviation, recreation, and tourism thrive here.

As you sail, you'll notice examples of this everywhere. You'll also see some of the magnificent homes that the technology industry built for the rich and famous, such as Bill Gates' estate and the historic houseboat community made famous in Sleepless in Seattle.

This easy-going cruise experience will certainly add to your understanding and enjoyment of this wonderful city. As you sail you will have access to purchase from a full service bar complete with specialty cocktails, local wine and beer as well as non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
