OverviewExperience two of Alaska's magnificent glaciers from the air during this fascinating tour. This company was founded in 1963 with one floatplane. Now, decades later, it's the premier operator of Alaskan flightseeing tours. With an experienced crew of bush pilots and a dependable fleet of seaplanes, they'll show you Alaska's breathtaking aerial views in comfort. Whether you're arriving in Anchorage via plane, ship, or bus (or staying at a hotel), you'll be transported to the world's largest floatplane base, where you'll board one of our meticulously-maintained aircrafts for your high-flying adventure. Your 90-minute flight soars over the expansive Knik Glacier, the centerpiece of Lake George National Natural Landmark. At 25 miles long and 5 miles wide, Knik Glacier is rimmed with spectacular hanging glaciers and towers above Knik River Valley, an area rich in vegetation, fish, and Alaskan wildlife. Sense the motion of the ice and see how it has shaped the land, then fly over the Colony Glacier to Lake George, which spills into the winding Knik Glacier Gorge. Keep an eye out for mountain goats, Dall sheep, bears, moose, and more on your adventure. Our planes are equipped with a two-way intercom system (for effective communication with your pilot) and large windows to ensure that you see the most glaciers, the most wildlife, the most of what you came to Alaska for! - Luggage can be stored in the flightseeing office during your tour. - Includes federal aviation tax - There is a minimum of 2 people required for this tour to run.
