Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This hotel is amazing! Our view from our private balcony is breathtaking. It's a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. I wish all hotels could be like this one.

Review:   The rooms are not the fanciest, but they are good. The staff is friendly and very nice. They are working on some renovations, so there's some noise during the day but you're in Cairns, you shouldn't be in the hotel during the day! Anyway, they comp a drink for the inconvenience regardless. Very good location too!

Review:   Very dated, needs refurbishment especially in bedrooms. Outdoor pool nice but not the best views. A bit disappointing compared to the pictures online, would not stay again for the price.

Review:   The hotel seems kind of old as there were scuffs all over the door, but at the end of the day, the staff are nice and it is extremely close to the marina which makes it easy getting to the reef in the morning. The restaurant attached to the hotel seems overpriced though.
