Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Beautiful hotel that caters to ones every needs. Set along a large area with shopping malls close by, a beautiful beach area to learn how to paddle board, kayaking, snorkel, swim, or just lay on the beach. Very family oriented and safe. Towels are offered and a small bar for drinks and appetizers. Able to view turtles on the ocean front of the hotel, of course when they are beached. Staff is very friendly and informative. Great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Review:   I can't say enough about this resort!! Not only was the resort and private beach breathtaking, the customer service was what really makes a difference. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We stayed 2 weeks here and by the second day, most staff knew our names. They made a point to get to know us and help us travel the island. It was the most relaxing and wonderful stay at a resort I've ever had! When I return to Hawaii, I'll be staying here.

Review:   Fantastic resort. Great service. Great food. Best beach location I've been to. Walk into the water and swim with sea turtles! Rooms and beds are comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the resort and ocean. The WiFi was almost unusably slow and should be a lot better for such a nice resort. On site rental car was very convenient. No bugs. If you're looking for an all in one resort you don't have to leave this fits the bill very well.

Review:   I used to rate as a 5 star...but they discontinued their Vegan menu (which was a big draw for us). Now, they have a couple of vegan choices or...the less desireable alternatives of : "this entree is vegan if you leave out the cheese", etc. Not the creative offerings one might expect from a true 5 star establishment. They did have one vegan entree which was not on the menu (?) & was a very delicious and generous "vegetable bowl" and a good value. Of the two vegan entrees on the menu, the cauliflower / mushroom dish was truly delicious- but a very meager portion for the price. The other was an eggplant dish which we didn't try. Unfortunately, although the service was above par...the fare has slipped a bit. As the US population of vegans has grown 600% over the last 5 years, most fine restaurants are adding MORE vegan options to their menu's - not less. Still a beautiful setting and quality experience overall.

Review:   I was only there for a few hours due to a cancelled flight, so I wasn't able to use many of the amenities. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The shower had good pressure. The grounds were gorgeous as well.
