Jakarta has been called a study in contrasts, yet seamlessly blends a progressive future while embracing rich traditions of the past. With its modern architecture and abundant cultural treasures, this flourishing and diverse capital of Indonesia is the center of commerce, government and entertainment. Its year-round warm climate makes this robust city an ideal destination for both business and travelers.

For centuries, Jakarta was a key trading post and the cultural influences of former Portuguese, Spanish, English and Dutch colonial powers still resonate in the islands today. Visitors can expect to be impressed by the strong spirit of national independence as they explore this rich landscape of cultural history and commercial strength.

Located in the heart of Mega Kuningan business district, the Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta stands among distiguished embassies and exclusive metropolitan residences.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Not bad, but not great. I would expect something over the top in a country where national average is 300$ income a month. This place costs that much a night. The breakfast is “ok”. Good food, but not wow status. There is hotels within 200 meters from here that have the same if not better for 1/3 price. Room size is good, spacious, and clean. Good water pressure and helpful staff. They are great when taking your money, which they do for every amenity they “offer”. Make sure to check your bill is as they like to make mistakes. 100% in their favor. They NEVER make a mistake where your benefit.

Review:   This hotel is excellent. The location is in the city centre and near shopping malls.Great children playground and swimming pool. Our room is spacious with great view. The meals are delicious. But the praying room is too small.

Review:   Ritz- Carlton is one chain of the luxury hotel in the world. This hotel quite popular in Mega Kuningan area, south of Jakarta. The hotel is very big and has many rooms available. The hotel also popular to hold many company and enterprise events like seminar, workshop, exhibition, RUPS, etc. It has many function rooms and halls, also very often to be used for wedding event. Many restaurants also available here.

Review:   Lovely hotel, I attended several Symposium here. We used the ballroom as the venue. Nice ballroom facility. Food is very delicious. Seriously :) They have Indonesian and Western food, including lots of salad preferences. Their desserts also very delicious.

Review:   Overall.. great place for stay.. I stayed there because annual cardiology symposium being held in Ritz.. I got 1 room with two king size bed.. so it's great place to stay with family.. I liked the bathroom.. cause it had shower and bathtub.. and also there were alquran and bible in the desk. There was also a flat iron. Plenty of beverage and drinks. And for the breakfast was delicious.. I liked all the food they served.. from Indonesian food, western, asia like dimsum and sushi.. they have one big ballroom and many smaller room for meeting. The staff was great.. i liked how they served us in the restaurant. Too bad I haven't try the swimming pool. Hope I can go there again. For the price I think it's good deal with all the pleasures. Definitely.. great place to hangout.. 😊
