Mandarin Oriental Bangkok

The Mandarin Oriental has been an elegant fixture in Thailand for decades
It can be a bit formal and traditional in tone, however, a fantastic introduction to the river area with direct access on the ferry any where you want to go along the river.

When I first came to Thailand 1995, I stayed here for a week and did not want to leave.
The grounds are not spacious however it sits directly on the edge of the Chao Phyra
river; my favorite area in Bkk.

Just across the river a private MO ferry takes you to the spa salon for a few hours of heavenly relaxation.

There is indoor and outdoor ocean view dining too.
