The impressive Tulum ruins with its backdrop of the turquoise Caribbean waters is just breathtaking and a fantastic photo opportunity!
You will be picked up at your Cancun hotel in a first-class, air-conditioned vehicle, and whisked off on your journey 50km south of Playa del Carmen to Tulum. The drive time will be approximately 90 minutes. Tulum is one of the ancient Mayan cities located on the coast of Quintana Roo that was used as a trading port. Tulum, meaning "fence or wall", is one of the most visited Mayan sites in the Yucatan.
Upon arrival at Tulum, you will marvel at the incredible beaches of the Mexican Caribbean as well as the history of Mayan culture. You will enjoy a guided tour led by a certified guide of approximately 1 hour in this beautiful archaeological zone that is built on the top of a high risk with an impressive view to the Caribbean Sea. Your guide will provide an explanation of the Mayan culture and a brief history of Tulum. You will also enjoy 1 hour and 15 minutes free time to take pictures or enjoy the magnificent surroundings. Take time to examine the inscriptions and murals on the temples, describing the decoration, rich iconography and its meaning to the Maya.
You will be returned to your hotel at approximately 2 pm, depending on where you are staying.

- We suggest that you bring biodegradable sunscreen, your camera, and cash for drinks, shopping, and/or tips.
- At all archaeological sites in Mexico, there is an $8-$10 charge for bringing a video camera.
- Food, drinks, and gratuities are not included.
