Enjoy this panoramic tour of Athens including a guided tour of the Acropolis and more!

Your guide will meet you at the cruise port of Piraeus and will escort you to your air-conditioned transportation ready to begin your tour.

This popular tour of Athens allows you to see all the famous sights of Greece's capital city and allows you time to shop in Plaka, the very popular shopping area situated at its centre.

You will embark upon a panoramic sightseeing tour of Athens, including the Panatheniac Stadium (site of the first modern Olympics, in 1896), the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (in front of the Parliament House in Constitution Square), the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Adrian's Arch, and the Catholic Cathedral. You'll also get to see the so-called 'Neoclassical Triology' (which consists of the University and the Academy of Athens and the Vallianios National Library), Omonia Square, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens.

After the panoramic tour we will then begin a two-hour guided tour of the Acropolis Site, which contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, including the Parthenon, the Propylaia, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike. Once at the top, marvel at the outstanding views, boasting views of this magnificent ancient city. There will be a little free time before making our way back down from the site.

From here, you will then have 90-120 minutes free time to explore the centre of Athens, including Plaka, where you can shop for souvenirs or find somewhere to eat among the many Greek Taverna. Your guide will be able to recommend the best places for traditional Greek cuisine.
*Note - The changing of the guard in Constitution Square takes place on the hour every hour, and you will be able to see this within your free time.

After the free time your tour will head back to Piraeus cruise port in plenty of time for you to board your cruise ship ready for departure.

- We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes as this tour involves some walking on uneven ground, inclines, and steps.
- We recommend that you bring sunscreen, hat, and bottled water as it gets extremely hot at times.
- Food, beverages, and gratuities are not included.
- Entrance fees are included for the Acropolis.

- This tour is rated quite strenuous, with walking up to 2 km, especially at the Acropolis where there are steps and inclines.
- Guests will need to provide passport details during the booking process.
- Children will be required to present their passport upon entry at the Acropolis.
- This tour is only available for cruise passengers, round trip from Piraeus cruise port.
- This tour is not suitable for wheelchairs users since the sites do not have wheelchair access.
- This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants for all cruise ships. There is a maximum of 24 participants per departure.
- You are purchasing a shared tour and you will be expected to maintain the pace of the group.
