Overview
Finally we have an Aruban beach day from someone we trust!
Think of this as a no-frills beach day and you can add on items and activities as you wish.
Close to the northern tip of the island of Aruba, you will find an area known for its sandy beach but also its location which is away from the fray. Less traffic, less people - all in all a perfect place to veg on a busy island. Nearby are the California Lighthouse and the California Sand Dunes. They both probably sound interesting enough to include them in your day but the truth is that once you arrive at this beach, you are unlikely to leave until you have to.
Consider this a no-frills experience. The main components are provided by nature - turquoise waters, white sand beach, balmy winds - those you can count on. When you arrive, the staff at the colorful and cute beach bar will take you to your beach chairs and chat a minute to let you know what fun you can have while there.
You will be able to rent snorkel equipment and umbrellas. You can also take a Seabob tour around the area.
An assortment of cold beers are available along with many other beverage options. Lunch is up to you; you can order from the adorable Arashi Beach Shack or bring your own food.
Your driver will swing back around 2:00pm to take you back to the harbor.
If you wish to stay longer, you can ask the Shack to call you a taxi and return on your own.
- We suggest you wear your swimsuit under your clothes. You may want to bring a hat, oil-free sunscreen, extra tee shirt and a towel.
- Food and beverages are not included in this tour but may be purchased.
- You may choose to stay longer than 2:00pm, the time your transfer appears. If you choose to stay, have the Shack call a taxi, which is additional cost to you. It is your responsibility to return on time to the ship in this case.
