Finally we have an Aruban beach day from someone we trust!
Think of this as a no-frills beach day and you can add on items and activities as you wish.
Long overdue is our perfect beach day on Aruba. Arashi Beach is a favorite of both locals and guests of the island. Its stretch of white sand immediately sends a zen message of relaxation. This package will allow you plenty of time to enjoy the beach and the clear water on your own. Along the stretch of beach you will find areas that have a low level current, perfect for beginner body surfing, as well as another place where the snorkeling is best.
It can be lively on one day, with music and energy, and on another quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of the sea. New facilities on the beach include showers and rental of equipment such as umbrellas and snorkel gear. These are additions to the food and beverage stand and beach huts that dot the sandy beachfront. When you arrive, the staff at the colorful and cute beach bar will take you to your beach chair and chat a minute to let you know what fun you can have while there.
Your package includes a Seabob tour. As they are in high demand, this is your way of assuring your spot. There are 2 options - both are wonderful.
SEABOB NORTH COAST - this tour is about 45 minutes in the water. You will be picked up from the beach and brought to the area with incredible marine life. You will see the Malmok area of the island, with its incredible rock formations, amazing marine life and most likely, some turtles! With your transfer the total time away from your beach day will be 1.5 hours.
SEABOB ANTILLA SHIPWRECK - this tour highlights a famous wreck that most of the dive and snorkel tours aim to provide. You will see more than just formations under the water surface, including the well known rock formations. You will get to see the turtles' nest and watch them in their natural habitat. On to the main attraction, the Antilla shipwreck, which is covered in marine life. An extra reef will be possible for a quick snorkel and then on to Boca Catalina Beach, where you will be brought back to Arashi. Your time in the water on this tour is about 1.5 hours, total time with transfers is 2.5 hours.
We will ask which Seabob tour you prefer during the booking process. If some in your group are not interested in a Seabob tour, they can book our SIMPLE DAY ON A BEAUTIFUL BEACH and enjoy the sun and sand while you snorkel. You will be returned to them after your snorkel and make them very jealous that they did not go with you!
When you return to the beach, you can select from an assortment of cold beers along with many other beverage options.
Your driver will swing back around 2:00 pm to take you back to the harbor.
If you wish to stay longer, you can ask the Shack to call you a taxi and return on your own.
- We suggest you wear your swimsuit under your clothes. You may want to bring a hat, oil-free sunscreen, an extra t-shirt and a towel.
- You will be provided with a wet suit.
- If some in your group are not interested in a Seabob tour, they can book our SIMPLE DAY ON A BEAUTIFUL BEACH and enjoy the sun and sand while you snorkel.
- Food and beverages are not included in this tour but may be purchased.
- You may choose to stay longer than 2:00 pm, the time your transfer appears. If you choose to stay, have the Shack call a taxi, which is additional cost to you. It is your responsibility to return on time to the ship in this case.
