OverviewGolden sandy beaches and idyllic ocean views make the perfect escape! After a fully narrated drive from the port, through Puerto Plata’s historic, Victorian district and along the Atlantic boardwalk (Malecon), you will arrive at a beautiful resort located within Playa Dorada. Away from the crowds, this smaller property provides the perfect setting to relax and bask in the sunshine. Surrounded by small islets, the golden sandy beach provides idyllic oceans views. You'll have access to beach lounge chairs as well as the pool area if you prefer. Snorkel gear is included and the underwater life is abundant! An open bar is included as well as a delicious buffet lunch featuring both local and international options. Thoroughly relaxed and refreshed, you'll be ready to head back to the cruise pier. - We recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothing. - Please bring your own towel. - We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear. - Open bar includes rum, local/domestic beers (international beers including those from the US are not included), juice, vodka, whiskey, cocktails. - A buffet lunch is included with local and international options. The buffet is closed between 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, during that time a café with burgers and other American options will be open. - You will have approximately 3 hours at the resort. - The walk to the meeting location takes approximately 10-15 minutes. - Although this tour is not available for those using wheelchairs, walkers or canes, if you do have somewhat limited mobility, we suggest: - Taking the complimentary, rickshaw-like, chauffeured, "pedi-cabs" available from the gangway to the the taxi area (a tip is expected). - At the taxi area you can take a taxi to the meeting location outside the main gate for the lowest posted rate (flat rate for up to 5 guests). - Minimum age for participation is 12. This is an adult oriented area. - You must be 18 years to drink alcohol on this excursion. Other non-alcoholic options are available. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
