Stunning Coastal Rainforest BushwalkExplore > Australia > Arlie Beach > Stunning Coastal Rainforest BushwalkOverviewJourney through coastal rainforest to a secluded coral beach! This guided walking tour on the coast of Tropical Queensland will transport you to a secluded Australian paradise. Approximately 2 miles in total, this bushwalk will take you through a coastal rainforest filled with an array of colorful birds and plants. Your local guide will fill you in on the history of Airlie Beach along with information on native species you encounter. As you pass trees and shrubs, you'll also catch glimpses of the beautiful blue waters below. After a stroll through the lush greenery, you'll step out of the forest and into undisturbed bliss at Coral Beach. Given it's name, it's no surprise that the beach is filled with white coral along it's shore. This slice of heaven offers incredible views of the Whitsunday Islands to soak in while you relax on the beach. Or choose to walk another 20 minutes to a sweeping, birds-eye view of the islands surrounded by breathtaking turquoise ocean. You'll take a quick rest on the beach before heading back to the starting point. This guided walking tour also includes a drive to a stunning lookout for an unparalleled photo opportunity of Shute Harbour. Some sections of the trail are uphill, so a basic level of fitness is required. Be prepared for humid conditions which are typical in Tropical Queensland. At the end of this walk, you'll feel refreshed and rejuvenated by Airlie Beach's lush and sandy landscape. - We recommend bringing bottled water (at least 1 liter person is recommended). Conditions are typically hot and humid. - Please wear proper footwear. We recommend sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes (hiking boots and sneakers are good, no flip flops). - We recommend proper sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc.). - Please bring a light rain jacket as the weather can change in the rainforest (especially November - April). - Don't forget your camera! - Minimum 4 participants required.
