Mystical Rainforest And Waterfalls WalkExplore > Australia > Arlie Beach > Mystical Rainforest And Waterfalls WalkOverviewDiscover the ancient rainforests and breathtaking waterfalls of Conway National Park. Venture into the ancient rainforest for an unforgettable experience. Explore lush green canopies, cascading waterfalls, refreshing pools, and forest animals...a day to remember! With your first step into this green wonderland, you’ll be on the lookout for Paradise Kingfishers flying beneath the great forest canopy. A wide, slightly downhill track will take you through the rainforest before veering off towards Wompoo Way - a tranquil clearing with a beautiful creek and the chance of spotting a Wompoo Fruit-Dove or Ulysses Butterfly - the perfect spot for a picnic morning tea. After taking a moment to rest and truly appreciate this magical place, it’s an uphill walk to complete the 4.5-mile circuit. Within just a short drive you'll find yourselves at Cedar Creek Falls; nature’s perfect backdrop for an afternoon to spend as you choose - perched on a rock watching friendly turtle, looking for that perfect angle to capture the waterfall on camera, or enjoying a refreshing, invigorating swim beneath the falls. - Please bring at least 1 liter of water per person. Conditions are typically hot and humid so staying hydrated is essential. - Please wear proper footwear. We recommend sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes (hiking boots and sneakers are good, NO flip flops). - Bring/wear sunblock, sunglasses, hat, etc. -Bring a swimsuit and towel. - A light rain jacket is recommended as rainforest weather can be changeable, especially from November - April. - Don't forget your camera! - A good level of fitness required for this tour. During the approximate 4.5 mile hike, you will encounter uphill sections and hot, humid conditions. Please make sure you are fit enough for this tour before booking. - Please note: The amount of water flowing at the waterfall is heavily dependant on the season. Although there might not be any water falling during the dry season, there is always water at the base for swimming. - Tour is not available Christmas Day. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
