Private: Full Day Barossa Valley And VinesExplore > Australia > Adelaide > Private: Full Day Barossa Valley And VinesOverviewBest of the Barossa Valley! The short drive to the Barossa Valley is a great chance to share some of your tastes and interests so these can be made a feature of your uniquely personalized experience. Sit back and get to know your guide in a luxury touring vehicle equipped with water and a selection of South Australian treats. Take the scenic route past vast fields of golden canola in the winter, wildflowers in the spring, and row upon row of luscious grapes ready for vintage in the Summer. You might like to go behind the scenes at a local Wildlife Park, a lush bush haven for native wildlife. Choose the option to have a ranger personally take you to meet, feed and pet our favorite cuddly creatures, or enjoy the park at your own pace. Head behind a few cellar doors to chat with the wine-makers behind the famed big Barossa reds while sampling the best of them. The region is renowned for farm-to-plate experiences at restaurants and cellar doors. Enjoy a casual lunch or something more elegant among rolling hills and sprawling vineyards. For dessert, taste fortified port from your birth year in an age-old institution personally endorsed by the Royal Family, or learn the unique flavors offered by Australian botanicals at a state-of-the-art gin distillery. The local dairy produces some stunning cow and sheep cheeses that can’t be missed. Spend the afternoon’s golden hour in the leafy, sparsely-populated towns on the Valley floor, reminiscent of early European settlements. Or choose to take a moment to reconnect to nature with a bushwalk through stands of ancient redgums and exchange secret messages at the whispering wall, all with a chance to glimpse wildlife in its native setting. - Food and beverages are not included in the tour cost. - There is a supplement for tours on public holidays. 2019 holiday dates are: November 5th, December 25th and December 26th. 2020 holiday dates are: April 10th, April 11th, April 13th, April 25th, June 8th, October 5th, December 25th, and December 28th. - Peak rates will apply to all tours booked for travel between December 20th and January 31st.
