Before discovering Adelaide, trace the coast past sleepy seaside villages to get your specialty coffee fix – with a view. Dine-in or do it like a local and take your latte for a beach walk in the vibrant, historic beachside suburb of Semaphore, known for its white-sand beaches, antique shops, and the oldest working carousel in the Southern Hemisphere or in Henley, an up-and-coming seaside town, popular with swimmers, paddlers, and fishermen. As you get back on the road to head into town, get to know your personable guide and share a few tastes and interests to help personalize your tour. Your guide will show you around Adelaide's downtown, taking time to get oriented both geographically and historically. Then, wander the backstreets of central Adelaide and traipse the grand Cultural Boulevard of North Terrace with time to admire its architecture, local sites and plenty of street-art.
