Begin your day visiting local wine taverns in Grinzing; a sight straight out of a fairytale. Walk through the picturesque countryside and discover quaint architecture hiding around every corner while learning about the history of Vienna’s small villages. Enjoy lunch in one of the many wine taverns. Your guide can recommend the best food spots, explain traditional dishes, and point out which wines to sample accordingly. As you eat and drink, meet local tavern goers and see why Vienna boasts some of the best wine in the world. Surrounded among woods and vineyards, take note of the grapevines hanging overhead before heading to the Vienna Woods, a site on UNESCO’s Biosphere Reserve list. At the top of both the hills of Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg, you’ll see captivating views of the Vienna Basin. A stop at the Stefaniewarte, a tower situated almost 300 meters above the Danube, will end your tour on a breathtaking note. - Tastings are not included in tour cost and can be paid on the spot. - Departure times are flexible.
