You’ll begin your tour in Mozart Square with a coffee in a local café. Learn about the café culture in Salzburg as you pop into Café Tomaselli – a local favorite featuring mouthwatering cakes.
Throughout the tour, you will visit local specialty shops to get a truly Austrian experience. Try local delicacies like Mozart chocolate, or Mozartkugel. Learn more about the creation of these Austrian specialties while chatting with shop owners and locals alike.
Taste the city’s most popular confections such as marzipan, pistachio, nougat, and dark chocolate. Meander through Old Market – a hub of activity with delicious Austrian staples like cheese, cured meat and fresh fruit. Stop at Salzburg’s oldest bakery, dating back to the 12th century, to learn about its unique history. End your day on a sweet note with an Apple strudel or a savory note with dumplings and sauerkraut!
