As you take in views of Mirabell Gardens and the Mondsee, discover how the political climate of the time as well as the backdrop of WWII Influenced the film. You’ll focus on the real Von Trapp family, and the impact The Sound of Music had on the world. Travel outside Salzburg to the Von Trapp Villas to learn about their real situation including hardships felt by the Great Depression of the 1930s. End the tour in the breathtaking countryside where some of the most iconic landscapes from the movie still exist. After gaining insights into the history of these landscapes, enjoy a local drink or snack in the alpine countryside before heading back to Salzburg. - Entrance fees are included. - Food and beverages are not included in tour cost.
