Just a 30-minute ride north of downtown through the Tongass Narrows brings you to a gorgeous spot overlooking the Behm Canal alongside the Inside Passage. Here you'll find a beautiful resort, the site for this heavenly culinary experience. Settle in and relax in beautiful surroundings while your chef prepares several delightful salmon specialties. With Ketchikan being the salmon capital of the world, you can rest assured all dishes are prepared with the freshest catch of the day. Meet some new friends as you enjoy a tasty selection of hors d’oeuvres paired with ONEHOPE white wine. ONEHOPE's lofty mission is to provide high-quality wines while giving back to their community, so as you sip, you're doing good. I'd call that a WIN-WIN. Your chef will choose which dishes to demonstrate from a wide repertoire of recipes, including Salmon Mousse served with crudités or crostini, Salmon on Buckwheat Blinis, Salmon Wontons, Mini Salmon Provençal with Mixed Greens, Salmon Cakes with Creme Fraiche and Roe, Salmon Sashimi or Nigiri, Salmon Roll, and Salmon Ceviche, all paired with the perfect wine. It is indeed a salmon celebration! With the gustatory portion of your tour complete, you’ll have time to wander the grounds of this beautiful property, tour the marina or check out the gift shop for some lovely and unique reminders of your day in Ketchikan. - All guests must be over 21 years old to drink alcohol and must provide a valid ID. - There is very little walking on this tour, so it works well for those with limited mobility. - Guests with folding wheelchairs are welcome but must be able to transfer in and out of the transport van.
