Overview
The elements of this experience total one golden evening!
Dubai never stops and this evening experience will demonstrate that to you. After you meet your driver and guide, you will begin your Dubai journey with a stop in Saga World. This facility is dedicated to promote the fine arts and crafts of the UAE. The goal of turning craftsmen into artists in the tradition of renaissance masters like Michelangelo has been successful and it is wonderful to be able to meet, in some cases, these local artists that turn silk into carpets and silver into masterpieces. This upscale mall or marketplace is the one address not to miss.
Now that you have stepped your foot into the authentic of Dubai, you will find your sail on a traditional wooden dhow another step into the past. The only thing is that you are going to cruise alongside of the very modern Dubai Marina amidst the towering skyscrapers - what a contrast! While you are enjoying the views, feel free to chat with your guide and get some background of the city and its growth. It is unbelievable how this area was developed in such a short time with such determination.
After you disembark your dhow on the largest manmade island in the world, Palm Jumeirah, you will find yourself in an opulent neighbourhood. The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial archipelago in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and was created by using land reclamation which extends into the Persian Gulf. The area is known for glitzy hotels, posh apartment towers and upmarket global restaurants.
During this time you will make a stop at one of the most Islamic marketplaces in Dubai, Soul Al Bahar, where you feel the need to take home much of what you see around you; those simple yet odd souvenirs such as camel milk chocolate in the shape of stones!
The Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, popular for its views of the Dubai coastline, will lead you to the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel, an astounding structure where you will take a vertical ride to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa. There is no more poignant symbol of Dubai's aspiration to be a global player than this grouping of futuristic skyscrapers. Above them all looms this one, the Burj, shaped like a rocket and the world's tallest building. It is totally clad in glass and has the highest observation deck, 360 degree views of the city and the dancing fountains below.
It is here you will enjoy a fusion buffet dinner at the Armani Hotel, which is one of the city's most desirable dining destinations. By the end of your evening, it will be difficult to pick your favorite part of this experience.
- Dress for this excursion should be smart casual.
