Private: Prague Castle Complex And Strahov Monastery With Special Library AccessExplore > Czech Republic > Private: Prague Castle Complex And Strahov Monastery With Special Library Access
OverviewStep back into the 10th century and explore Prague's best-kept secrets! Ditch the long lines and bustling crowds to experience the authentic beauty of Prague up close and personal. Once your private guide and driver meet you in the lobby of your hotel, you'll begin your half-day tour to the Prague Castle complex and Strahov Monastery. On your way to these historical sites, your expert guide will give you an overview of other must-sees in Prague like the Dancing House and Rudolf Concert Hall. Your visit to Prague's Castle complex will include stops at St. Vitus Cathedral with its stain-glass windows, the Royal Palace with Vladislav Hall, and the unforgettable and quaint Golden Lane. One of the oldest monasteries in the world, Strahov Monastery is also sure to impress with its rich collection of books and panoramic views of Prague from the backyard. You will also see the Cabinet of Curiosities and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary where Mozart used to play the organ during his Prague visits. But the tour doesn't stop there. Your guide will then lead you to the Strahov Library, filled with ancient books, globes, and paintings. You will use a private back door to enter the two beautifully unique rooms of the library. Your guide will tell you historical tales and even show you illustrations nestled within some of the books. You won't want to miss this special opportunity to explore these interiors especially after the restoration work that finished last year. Other tours only allow you to peak into the rooms from the doorways, while we've arranged special entrance with your guide to ensure your experience is fully immersive. - There is some walking on uneven surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear. - This tour includes the entry fee to the Strahov Monastery and Strahov Library Rooms. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
