Private: Arenal Volcano Rainforest Hanging Bridges TourExplore > Costa Rica > Guanacaste > Private: Arenal Volcano Rainforest Hanging Bridges Tour
OverviewThe treetops are where it's all happening! To really experience life in the rainforest, you have to head to the canopy. This unique experience is possible via a series of bridges (some of them hanging), bringing you eye-level with nature's magnificence! Rise and shine, it's time for an early morning adventure! During the 3-hour drive to your destination, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Costa Rica, maybe take a short nap, or if you wish, your driver will be happy to make a breakfast stop along the way. No matter how you spend the drive, once you see the perfectly shaped cone of the Arenal Volcano rising out of flat, surrounding plains, you'll be glad you made the trip. Now it's on to your hanging-bridge treetop adventure. These engineering marvels provide a safe and authentic rainforest canopy experience for observing Costa Rica's rich biodiversity and varied wildlife. As you cross 15 bridges and go through a tunnel, your knowledgeable guide will point out animals and plants, some not seen anywhere else in the world. Hear the sounds of the howler monkeys (you can't miss them), see the brilliantly-colored toucans and intensely beautiful bromeliads, and breathe in the scent of fragrant orchids. After exploring the rainforest, a delicious Costa Rican lunch will be provided at a restaurant conveniently located at Hanging Bridges Park. Newly refreshed, you'll visit Baldi Hot Springs Resort and Spa where you can enjoy the waters of 25 thermal pools, surrounded by waterfalls, singing birds and lush surroundings. Go for a swim, unwind in the whirlpool or feel tensions slip away in one of the resort's warm, therapeutic mineral pools, heated compliments of the Arenal Volcano.
