Delight your taste buds with a delicious stroll through downtown Victoria. Showcasing local restaurants, you'll savor the flavors of some of the city's best hidden culinary gems.
As you walk, your guide will relate some of the histories of this charming city and show you highlights such as St. Andrews Cathedral, the Royal Theater, and the bustling Fort Street neighborhood. Known as antique row, Fort Street is also home to book stores, boutiques and of course, restaurants.
The tastings begin with a visit to an iconic chocolate shop whose organic chocolate creations have been keeping Victorians happy for more than 30 years. Both milk and dark chocolate samples are sure to delight even the most discriminating chocolate connoisseur.
Did someone say wine? British Columbia is the wine-making capital of Canada. The locals know a good thing when they taste it as most of the production is consumed right here in the province. You'll follow the local's lead and sip their finest "fruits of the vine" while you're here.
The foodie quest continues with some of the best cookies in town, unique teas from a couple who is passionate about this beverage and a charcuterie and cheese platter from a European delicatessen that's been around for decades.
In addition to sampling Middle Eastern delights and mole-infused tacos, we'll also visit with the proprietors and chefs who put their heart and soul into everything they do. You'll taste their dedication in every delightful bite.
We'll finish our tour with exquisite sweets from the bakery voted best in Victoria. Tasting is believing!
