The Louvre is Paris' most famous, most popular art museum, but with your expert guide leading the way, you and your family will navigate your way through with ease. Your guide is also an expert at keeping kids engaged and entertained. This treasure hunt will have your children looking at art in a whole new light as they search for the answers to puzzles and riddles revolving around 9 of the Louvre's most famous works of art. You'll hear fun facts about masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace (aka Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory) and stories about the Italian Renaissance, including paintings by some of the period's most famous artists. Experience objects dating back to Ancient Egypt, including a real Egyptian sphinx, and explore the medieval undergrounds of the Louvre. Excavated in the 1980's you'll see the ruins of the castle that existed on this site from 1190 until the early 16th century when it was torn down to make way for the Renaissance Palace that now houses the fabulous Louvre Museum. After solving puzzles and riddles, your successful treasure hunters will receive a special gift at the end of this fun-filled 2-hour visit. - Guests will make their own way from their Paris hotel to the Louvre to meet their guide.
