Your night-time adventure begins at Shibuya crossing, the busiest pedestrian crosswalk in the world. You haven't lived until you've experienced this quintessential Tokyo street-crossing ritual. Be part of the crowd of thousands who begin to gather at the corners, patiently waiting for the walk sign to change from red to green. Once the "go" signal is given, this mass of humanity briskly, yet politely, crosses to the other side of the street before the light turns red and the process repeats.
As the tour continues into the Shinjuku district, famous for its large large entertainment, business and shopping area, you'll venture into the world of “Lost in Translation!”. Many scenes from this Golden Globe Award winning movie were filmed in this fast-paced, bustling, neon-lit Toyko district. You might want to watch the movie before taking this tour to refresh your memory.
Keep your sunglasses handy when heading into Kabuki-cho where ramped-up neon spills into the streets and lights up the night. No flash for selfies needed here.
As you make your way through these bright, bustling districts, your guide will know just when to veer off the main streets to a Yakatori bar (skewered chicken grilled over a charcoal fire), stop for a drink or lead you down micro-alleys to rub elbows with local workers at an Izakaya.

The cancellation policy on this tour is outside of the normal ShoreTrips Terms of Service. The tour is non refundable 18 days prior to the tour date. If your ship does not make port, this tour will be non-refundable. Please take out travel insurance to cover this rare occurrence.
