Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   First off i want to say the this resort is a brand new. The front desk is very very horrible. No one there could understand me and needs better staff to speak English. the resort was still under construction so when it came for us to upgrade to a swim up room we were told that it wasn't any available. I'm like what the heck you give us the credit book for if there wasn't any available. Then we try and go to the beach and pool and the security guy waits till we in the pool to tell us to get out. I'm like why he tell us that they both close @6 like what the hell. all in all my experience just was not what it though it would be. Then on top of that you have resort transportation to pick you up from the address the come late which was schedule for 12:00 they arrive at 12;55 then no one knew who was going where and they were acting as tho they were loss. Just pissed.

Review:   It's an absolute wonderful Hotel. Variety of food and restaurants and great animators. Many pools to choose from also some of the rooms have walk out private swimming pools. The family rooms are very big with 2 bathrooms 2 showers 2 mini bars not to mention a huge balcony looking onto the entire resort! I would definitely go back!

Review:   This place is not quite a 5 star yet. Although they have been open for a few months, there is too much still to be accomplished. They need more staff. Although the resort is literally dead, we found ourselves always looking for staff, a waiter, or a server. Ketchup! Guys please put out more ketchup! Everyday it's a struggle to find ketchup for breakfast, lunch or dinner! There are no shortage of beach/pool chairs. The resort is still in a constant state of construction, so there is noise going on ALL DAY. The beach is beautiful here. Water is a little rough but sand is perfect, and water is clear. There was a good variety of food, we are vegans and had no issues.

Review:   Our stay was excellent, great food, great entertainment, plenty of pools and amazing beach! I highly recommend the lazy river! My only negative is experience would be with the Travel Smart agents trying to sell us our next vacation during our vacation. My advice is avoid the Travel Smart/Diamond club breakfast offer and you will definitely enjoy every moment of your stay in this resort.

Review:   I would be hard pressed to give it 3 stars. - Room is overlooking a construction zone and workers. Swim out pool from the room has yellow caution tape around it (kid you not) - Coffee lounge which is supposed to have ice cream has only had it once. And cant even get coffee there tonight. - buffet doesn't open or supply tools to open seafood - alcohol is unnamed house brand - night life is non-existent - some restaurants not open (Rio, Ex) - teen zone has no computer games (electronics as described) - food is so-so at the buffet at best - constantly hounded for upgrade items (tours, snorkeling, etc) by beach staff On the bright side: - weather - beach has some aqua items included catamaran ($35 lesson required), boogie board, paddle board, kayak. - very family oriented (3-10 year olds have nice options) - specialty restaurants are good (steakhouse and Japanese) - staff are nice and trying hard Overall it should be a 3 star .... Disappointing experience and Royalton should be ashamed.
