Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Me and my wife had a good time. The grounds are very beautiful, the food is great and cooked fresh and the workers for the most part were nice and helpful. The hotel has many free amenities that others charge good money for. The restaurants at the hotel are very very good and better than other more expensive hotels in Punta Cana. Also the beach is beyond gorgeous. I would definitely return again and recommend this hotel to couples or families. Can't wait to go back.

Review:   It was all great until I left something in my room and they took it and said they were going to give it back but, four days later I didn’t get it and they say it wasn’t mine even though it is. But the rest like the pools and the water parks were fun. There was also in Oder that smelt like the inside of a dirty basement in the rooms (not just my room, my friends room to). Everything is free but it’s polite to give tips. So all and all I would give this resort a 8 of 10 ( ten being the best) for those little errors and hope to come again without the errors.

Review:   I would love to be able to give this hotel 5 stars, but they are just not up to speed yet! I brought my children and grandchildren for a week to celebrate a special birthday following a difficult year of medical challenges for my husband. I booked well in advance with Southwest Vacations and was careful to explain my room needs for my grandsons to be in a connecting room to be able to help me manage. Upon arrival we were told they were overbooked and we were lucky to even have rooms! They gave us rooms two buildings away from each other, but even those would not be ready for a few hours and perhaps we could go have a snack first. Come on!! We arrived past check-in time and just wanted to settle in --- not happening! Long story, short -- they wanted to move us all the next day so my daughter's family packed up using another day of our vacation, only to find the next room not ready and not having enough beds for her children -- so back to the first room -- two buildings away. But they still wanted to move them the third day. Unheard of -- that it should use three or more days of our time to check in!! We finally had to "make do" and get on with our vacation. The facilities, rooms, amenities, etc. were lovely and we just had to chalk it up to another experience!!

Review:   Stayed in this resort for 8 days. The rooms are big and contemporary. The staff were always friendly and had always smiles on their faces. Nobody hesitates to help. The pools and the beach are great and very close by to everything. Even if I gave it 5 stars there are small details which shows that the hotel is still in its opening phase. Room service was excellent the first two days, after that it continuously degraded to the point we had to ask more than once for soap. The reservation policy in the restaurants can be annoying, since they do 'first come first serve'. Also be prepared to hear the Royalton Theme Song at least twice a day and everytime you turn on the TV. Overall a great resort which still has to work on small things but I would definitely come back.

Review:   Just came back from this resort a week ago. This was not my first time in Punta Cana. The rooms are new and very modern. However the wait for the room was extremely long. We had to wait way past the check in time in order to settle in. Restaurants were great. Best food I've had in an all inclusive resort in Dominican. Entertainment wise, it was boring. No music by the Infiniti pool with the bar. In my opinion, it would be fun to have music with a drink by the pool. They have a great kids club but barely take the kids out to the pool which was disappointing as my 10 year old son wanted more water time. That's why he spent most of the time with us by the pool. Overall, the place is good for people who are wanting to simply relax on the beach or read a book the pool.
