Take a break from the big city to venture across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Your guide will make sure you have some free time to browse and shop while you're here.

Just a short trip across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge will bring you from Manhattan to the borough of Brooklyn. Home of Coney Island, Indie music and a vibrant art scene, Brooklyn is also a place of ethnic neighborhoods. And when you're talking food, ethnic means delicious.

Your local guide will inform you about the ethnic diversity and changing trends in Brooklyn, while guiding you to the tastiest spots in town that showcase this borough's best. The fragrances of Middle Eastern cuisine will draw you in before you enter the restaurant.

Any visit to New York without experiencing their famous pizza would be unthinkable. The large thin crispy crust is sturdy enough to accommodate the toppings without overwhelming the real stars of the dish, often just cheese and pepperoni. But the most important thing to know, to look like a local, is that you have to fold the pizza in half lengthwise before you take a bite. Go ahead, try it, it's fun.

There's an area of Brooklyn known as DUMBO that has nothing to do with elephants. It stands for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass". Many of the industrial buildings in this small neighborhood are now art studios, but the real draw here are the spectacular views of Manhattan. And where there are great views, great food follows. A stop at a local chocolatier will provide a little something to melt in your mouth as you gaze at the big city across the way.
