With influence from early Polynesian settlers, Hawaiian cuisine focuses on seafood, fruits and vegetables. You'll sample authentic favorites including opihi, poke and spam musubi. With an expert local foodie as your guide, this tour will be just as entertaining as it is informative.
At the Hawaii Plantation Village you'll learn about the traditional culture of Hawaii that shaped the unparalleled spirit of "Aloha" that is ever present today. The Hawaii Plantation Village is an interactive outdoor museum that takes you back in time to a fully operating sugar plantation circa 1850-1950.
While no two tours are alike, your guide promises a spontaneous adventure foodies and non-foodies will love. Your guide will take you to local favorite hot spots, including a visit to a poke shop - home to Hawaii's freshest seafood. Make sure to save stomach room for your visit to the famous food trucks of Oahu. Here you can try everything from macadamia and sticky rice salad to chicken katsu. We suggest trying the native dish and local favorite, lau lau.
