Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The hotel looks amazing, I can't even begin to describe how impressive the resorts appearance is. The staff are so friendly and approachable. These are the best 2 factors about the resort. Depending on where you go the food can be awful or really nice. I would NOT recommend the grand buffet, the food looks nice but it is awful, the grill has a good steak but most of the food has too much garlic (even the fries), the stake was mostly garlic. A large amount of the stake was fat and the outside was too raw but the middle was medium rare as requested. The service was excellent and I would recommend the pasta Carbonara. The Lebanese restaurant is lovely for breakfast despite how quiet it is, when I went we were the only people there, other than the staff of course who were really nice. I can not say this enough but the staff are the best part of the hotel. Room credits. They are a nightmare, from activating them to actually using them. I wouldn't recommend using them for any external uses as they only cover some things on the trip and often a lot will be charged to your room. DO NOT BRING A CREDIT CARD. If you do go on a trip, the hotel charges the extra things straight to your card, if you don't give the resort your credit card then you have to pay cash before the trip, and then you can see what all those extra charges are and can just cancel. If you go here I really recommend using a travel agency such as Thomas cook as if something goes wrong you are insured with them and they don't hide any of the extra charges as well as giving you all of the details about how room credits work. Just spend them bowling or at the spa, don't go on trips with them, you can do it for a little bit more with Thomas cook and you know that they aren't going to trick you. The room I stayed in was the deluxe suite, honestly it's not worth paying the extra, the rooms are all roughly the same size and it doesn't make a big difference. To sum up: - don't use room credits externally - the grade buffet has pretty looking good but tastes bad - the staff are amazing - the resort looks amazing

Review:   Stayed 10 nights with the family. Nice resort, spacious rooms, wait staff excellent. Guest services staff have just been ok. Challenge booking any restaurant requiring reservations as you can only book 2 days ahead. We were told to set an alarm for midnight to book via app or call at 6am to try and get a table. No turn down service, pools are nice, beach sand is nice, entertainment and theatre is probably the best we've ever experienced at an all inclusive.

Review:   A magnificent place, well appointed, beautiful surroundings, lots to do, from a gorgeous spa, to golf, tennis, bowling, fitness center and all kinds of entertainment. Must try the different wine tastings with Jorge, and pool side yoga and aerobics. Restaurants were many and all excellent, from Peruvian to Asian. Each one beautifully designed and authentic. Lots of little cafes, and bars scattered throughout. Many different pool areas each with its own bar and snack station. The large cheerful staff staff could not be any nicer or more helpful. Definitely a best vacation for us!

Review:   A fantastic 5 star experience from arrival to departure, you are welcomed with a refreshing drink and cold towel. The complex is vast making sure that no day is the same, whether it's riding one of the free bikes round the paths, activities inside and out, on the beach, sea or pools. The restaurants are all delicious with varied options and quality that you would expect to get from top London hangouts. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay the best it can be and the activities we went on outside of the resort were incredible experiences. A must to visit, palace resorts truly create luxury.

Review:   Don't go for the beaches, there is a lot of seaweed year round, but the facility is great! An on site water park, a spa, great pools, activities, and arcades for the kids... this place rocks. There is a marketing pitch to invest in a time-share type deal, but once you get past that, you'll have a nice all inclusive time.
