Laura Beyer   Meet Laura, one of our travel experts for Guatemala.

For over 10 years I've owned and operated Together in Paradise Travel. I started from the ground up and have successfully planned and arranged numerous vacations, many of which were honeymoons and 15-20 destination weddings. As a travel professional, I'm not only your best advocate, I protect your precious vacation dollars and hours. I’ve been there, seen the resorts, know the locations and I take time to get to know you as well as possible. So I do a great job at matching you with the right experience. I have great relationships with travel suppliers so often times I'm able to get you great perks, added amenities, VIP treatment and much more....that in itself is enough to beat the online giants. Close your eyes and picture where your next vacation is spent, then get ahold of me and share you dream. Together, we'll find your paradise!

Overview

The natural wonders of Las Pozas waterfall will be enjoyed by adults and children alike.

There's nothing like jumping into a clear, cool natural pool in the tropics.

Your adventure begins with a pickup at the cruise ship pier. After a short drive, you will arrive at the beautiful Las Pozas Nature Reserve, whose goal it is to provide tourism for the local economy while protecting the precious natural environment. As you walk along, keep your eyes and ears open for monkeys and other local animals who make their home in this special place. The river flowing though the forest is Las Escobas, source of fresh drinking water for nearby villages. There are several paths from which to choose. Follow whichever one suits your fancy, they all lead to gentle cascades and crystal clear pools. Plunge right in or jump off one of the many bridges. The cool water is waiting to refresh you. There's even a special pool designed for the little ones to enjoy.

After about an hour's worth of water fun, you will have the chance to purchase some snacks or lunch and browse the craft offerings of local villagers before heading back to the ship.
