Overview
The most scenic tour in Nova Scotia!
This relaxing itinerary will allow you to enjoy the simplistic charm Nova Scotia has to offer!
Fall is the most popular time of year to visit Nova Scotia and it is no wonder as the beauty of nature cannot be topped! Our route is the scenic Shubie Canal, linking Halifax with the Bay of Fundy. Our destination is a beautiful country estate - Mount Uniacke, home to one of Nova Scotia's wealthiest Victorian Age families, the Uniackes. Built in 1813 the mansion provides a unique glimpse into Georgian architecture.
Next, we will visit the villages of Kentville and Wolfville, both small towns rich with history and charming in their own way. Perhaps you will find a local establishment to enjoy a glass of wine or a light lunch. On our return to Halifax we will stop at Fairview Cemetery - the largest Titanic grave site.
