Sea To Sky Corridor Adventure From HotelExplore > Canada > British Columbia > Sea To Sky Corridor Adventure From HotelOverviewExplore along the Sea to Sky highway! Vancouver is often considered one of the greatest Canadian destinations and the list of reasons doesn't stop at the city limits. With a pick up at the pier we will take you out of the city life and into Vancouver's rugged wilderness. There is no reason for your time in nature to end just because you've left Alaskan waters. Horseshoe Bay will be your first stop as you enter the beautiful Howe Sound. This ocean-side town serves as a top hub for British Columbia ferries and provides the perfect point of transport for many of the nearby islands. From here you will follow the coastal Sea to Sky highway on your way to the famous Shannon Falls. At 335 meters in height these falls stand as the 3rd highest in British Columbia and provide a perfect example of natural beauty along the Pacific coast. If you stare up at Shannon Falls too long you will get a neck ache, so hop onto the Sea to Sky Gondola as we take you straight to the top! Enjoy some free time to explore the looped trails, viewing platforms and a 165 foot suspension bridge. On the way back to Vancouver we'll bring you to the award winning Britannia Mine Museum. Here you will learn about the history of the Britannia Mine which between 1904 and 1974 served as one of the largest copper mines in Canada's history. The most memorable part of this tour will be your underground ride on board a mine train into an early haulage tunnel. With a hard hat in tow your guide will explain life in the mines with the use of authentic drills and a mucking machine. That fresh Vancouver air will stay in your lungs well past your drop off at your Vancouver area hotel! - We recommend wearing comfortable clothing for the day, including a warm outer layer or warm shirt. - Total tour duration is approximate. The total length of your tour depends on your drop-off location and other pickups/drop-offs. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
