OverviewHowl with the wind while riding the lava fields! This is a perfect family fun adventure! This is what Iceland is all about! Imagine a rugged terrain that looks like the surface of Mars. You are wrapped in warmth no matter what the season. You tower over all the other vehicles when you are on the road, and when off roading, you are giggling. This tour has all of that plus it takes you to a volcanic wonderland of lava fields full of strange colors and formations. The area you will visit is mystical in nature. You will see sights like none before such as boiling mud pots and a large lake supposedly the home to monsters. Your super jeep journey of Reykjanes Peninsula will take you to the hot springs and perhaps you will cross Leif the Lucky’s Bridge where two continents meet over a major fissure. The whole thing is a mystery. What we know is that this is fun and the way Iceland is suppose to be! You have the option of adding an ATV ride to this half day excursion to add another dimension. For a quick thrill, you will take your ATV between lava and black sands, and up onto Mount Hagafell. There you get a great view of the Blue Lagoon and Eldey Island. - If you are staying at a hotel, please be aware that we do not pick up at all hotels. Rather, the nearest central meeting location will be assigned based on where you are staying. - Please wear warm and wind proof clothing as well as waterproof hiking boots. Waterproof camera is recommended. - This does not include food or beverages. - There’s no age limit for passengers but a driver’s license needs to be presented by the ATV driver. - There is a minimum of 2 people for this tour. - The tour may be altered according to weather and road conditions. - Book early in order to avoid the disappointment of sell-outs.
