Today you will enjoy a portion of your time among happy Icelanders doing what they do best - enjoying their country with you! Board your 40' charming Saga traditional fishing boat knowing that your captain and his crew member have designed an experience that even in this short amount of time will remain with you for a long time. In comfort among all the best equipment you will try your hand at angling as you head towards the puffins on their 'private' islands.
Even if you are not a fisherman, you can enjoy this ride while watching others angling and keeping your eyes out for puffins. Young and old will enjoy this slow-paced experience, one so Icelandic in nature!
You will motor first to an area in the bay with the smoothest water and in comfort, try your hand at fishing for 45 minutes to an hour. With luck you will catch your lunch and watch your captain pan fry it on the boat. Accompanied by a homemade sauce and potatoes, it will be a savory way to enjoy the scenery passing by. No worries if your luck does not hold - I promise they will find a couple of fresh fish around to make sure you can sample a typical Icelandic 'bicnic' (picnic on a boat).
All permits are included as well as everything else you need - except you must bring your own luck!
