OverviewA scenic tour unlike any other! After a pick up from the cruise pier we are headed on a scenic drive to the southernmost point of the tour, and the southernmost point of Norway, and then we will work our way backwards to Kristiansand. Our destination is the Lindesnes Lighthouse, built in 1655, this is the oldest lighthouse in Norway. With a rich history, the lighthouse has been designated a national lighthouse museum. Here we will view the various exhibitions on display, all relating to maritime history and culture. Climb to the top, but don't forget your camera as the coastal views span as far as the eye can see. Before leaving you will get try a variety of Norwegian food specialties including bread made from seaweed and fishcake. We promise it tastes better than it sounds! On our return drive we will stop at Mandal, a beautiful seaside village and a popular summer weekend destination. Accompanied by your guide, enjoy a walking tour through the old town as we reach our destination, a local micro brewery. Enjoy a taste of their house specialty before we return to Kristiansand. - This tour does not include food or beverages other than mentioned. One beer is included at Provianten microbrewery. - All entrance fees are included in this program. - Please note that the drive from Kristiansand to the Lindesness Lighthouse is approximately 90-120 minutes. On the return, you will stop in Mandal which is approximately halfway between the lighthouse and Kristiansand. - Groups of 4 or less passengers will have a driver/guide (same person), groups of 5 or more will have a separate driver and guide (two people). - You must be at least 18 years old to consume alcohol.
